Making Money Work For You is a five-part workshop developed by The University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension. This workshop is designed for people concerned about their money, whether they are just starting a budget, struggling to make it paycheck to paycheck, or are looking to better manage their debt and to begin a savings plan.
The workshop series covers:
- goal setting,
- credit,
- insurance,
- stretching fiscal resources,
- spending choices and
- making a spending and savings plan.
This course meets for five consecutive weeks for 2.5 hours per session. Participants receive and utilize the "Making Money Work For You" curriculum workbook as part of this scripted program. Each participant who successuflly completes the five-week class will recieve a $100.00 Series EE savings bond provided by The Pinon Project. In addition, the Pinon Project provides a meal and child care for each session.
